If, like us, you've got serious FOMO as your Instagram story feed fills with people going to Glastonbury, then it's time to pull out a festival trump card - Traenafestivalen. This unique three day festival of eclectic (mostly) Nordic music under the Arctic's midnight sun is only accessible by boat. Hosted on an island where the local population of around 400 rely on the fishing industry, Træna’s headliners have always been, and will always remain, "Herring, silver smelt, capelin, cod and coalfish, with support from mackerel and halibut". Without them, there’ll be no festival!
Aside from the fish, 2019's line-up doesn't disappoint. Just listen to our Traenafestivalen Spotify playlist to get an idea of what to expect:
If you can't join us this year, don't worry, as we make a pilgrimage back to this mind-blowing festival every year.
